What does FOB AND CIF PRICE mean

“FOB Price” means the sale price of
goods plus costs paid or payable in the
exporting country up to the final loading
point/port.

“CIF Price” means the sale price of
goods, costs paid or payable in the exporting
country up to the final loading point/port,
plus insurance, transport, loading, unloading,
and handling costs to deliver the goods to
Ethiopia’s first entry point.

“የኤፍ.ኦ. ቢ ዋጋ /FOB Price/” ማለት
የዕቃው የመሸጫ ዋጋ እና በላኪ አገር
እስከ የመጨረሻ መጫኛ ቦታ /ወደብ/
ድረስ ለዕቃው የተከፈለ ወይም
የሚከፈል ወጪ ድምር ነው፡፡

“የሲ.አይ. ኤፍ ዋጋ /CIF Price/”
ማለት የዕቃው የመሸጫ ዋጋ እና በላኪ
አገር እስከ የመጨረሻ መጫኛ ቦታ
/ወደብ/ ድረስ ለዕቃው የተከፈለ ወይም
የሚከፈል ወጪ እና ዕቃውን እስከ
ኢትዮጵያ የመጀመሪያ መግቢያ በር
ለማድረስ የወጣ የኢንሹራንስ፣
የማጓጓዣ፣ የማስጫኛ፣ የማውረጃ እና
የመንከባከቢያ ወጪ ድምር ነው፡፡
